LODGING AND TRANSPORTATION
Round trip bus transporation will be avaible from Tijuana for $70 US. Please let your school representative know as soon as possible if you are interested in such transportation. The trip takes a good ten hours each way, but will be an opportunity to interact with Mexican students, see the countryside, and perhaps work on a collaborative project on the way there and back. The bus will leave from the University of the California campus in Tijuana at 8:AM Thursday April 7. For students not wanting to park their cars there (there is underground parking), the bus will make a stop by the taxi stand at the border to pick up American students. These students could either take the trolley to the border, or park in a lot proximate to the border crossing. Maps of exact pick-up locations will be posted prior to the Encounter.
