Guidelines for Submission of Photographs

Robert Peralta, Southwestern College

All types of photographic expression are welcome, black and white and color prints, audio visual presentations, as well as work produced digitally. The work does not need to pertain to the conference theme. There is no size limitation, but all work should be mounted, ready for hanging.

  • All photographs must be labeled on the back with student's name, school and title of the work (if available).

  • The maximum number of photographs per student is two unless they are part of a narrative sequence or installation.

  • Each submission must be accompanied by a .jpg file of the photograph, 72dpi, 1024x768 pixels. Ideally each school can send one CD with all of the files, if not each CD must be labeled with student's name and school.
  • Students who submit work for the exhibition must plan to attend the encounter and participate in the photography panel. The purpose of the panel is to allow for an exchange of ideas about the work on display as well as contemporary developments in photography.
